WELCOME TO THE ACTIVE WALLPAPER OF THE LUNAR UNION

Click to see what this is about ...Btw, you will not only have an active Lunar calendar and clock on your Desktop, but the whole Universe, as seen by Hubble .....(click on the Hubble telescope)

This active desktop works a bit different from a normal image as a wallpaper. It's a web page and it does not replace your present desktop screen, but is placed over it (still behind the icons).

The following applies on Windows XP and IE.

In the desktop manager select "Desktop", and then "Customize Desktop" at the bottom. In the next dialogue box select the web tab and next, select "new" (do NOT check "Lock desktop items" box). You will then see this dialogue box:

In the location field, paste the web address of your choice (copy from the preview screen).

Then proceed further and in the end there comes up a smaller window on your desktop, that contains the wallpaper.

When you move your mouse in the upper edge of that window, a gray bar comes up (if not, you may have locked desktop items).

Then you click on the small black triangle in the left end of it and you will see the menu as shown left.

click on "Cover Desktop" and the wallpaper will fill the whole screen.

Ready you are!    ENJOY!
    Tips:
  1. If you ever would delete all your temporary internet files and offline content, the wallpaper may no longer be active, or even disappear all together. In the latter case you would have to download it again, otherwise-go online and use the synchronize option in your desktop manager under the web tab (save this page for your reference).
  2. You can free your wallpaper from obscuring desktop icons (except the Recycle Bin), by placing them in the taskbar instead. Clicke here to see what it looks like on my desktop.
